Do not use the main email and password boxes to sign in with your UCL account as this will not work.The Virtual Backgrounds app for Zoom enables you to select your favorite virtual background from over 2 million high-resolution images. Once you have installed the client you will be prompted to sign in.Click on the installer to install the Zoom client on to your machine.The downloads folder should be available from your browser menu bar. Once you have downloaded the installer, if it does not automatically open, you will need to open the downloaded installer file.The download will automatically detect your Operating System and download the correct client for you. You will be logged in to the Zoom application.Enter your current UCL password (the one you use for your email), select Sign in.

If prompted, fill in your UCL username in the format of (eg (eg uczxxxx).If you are prompted, click on open Zoom meetings You will be taken to the UCL single sign on page in your browser.Enter ucl in the company domain field and continue.Do not use the main email and password boxes to sign in with your UCL account as this will not work. Once you have downloaded the application open it by searching for Zoom in the Search box next to the start menu.Click on the Zoom app and then click on Install.In the Software Centre use the Search box to find Zoom.Go to the Search box next to the Start menu and type in Software Centre.Your machine needs to be connected to the UCL network on campus or, if working from home, the VPN connection. You don't need admin rights to your device to do this. You can install the Zoom Client on a UCL managed machine via the Software Centre. Tip : t he Zoom app will download automatically when you start or join your first meeting, however if you wish to use the app, it is recommended that you download it in advance to ensure you have everything set up prior to your meeting.
